DenMat Holdings, LLC has become the latest company to certify the composition and ADA classification of products through the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council.
Labs and dentists can now request IdentCeram “YZ” and “FS” certificates when they order Lumineers made with Cerinate® and crowns and bridges made from DenMat Lab’s LumiZir™ full-contour solid zirconia. Available at no charge, the certificates provide a simple way for labs and dentists to document that they are bringing the qualities of LumiZir’s zirconia 3Y-TZP composition to every case.
“As with all members of the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council, DenMat wants to assure labs and dentists that they are receiving the products they’re specifying,” noted Chuck Yenkner, the council’s Executive Director. “The certificates will also help LumiZir users simplify record-keeping.”
“We’re proud to have Cerinate® and LumiZir accepted into the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram program,” said Donald Park, Vice President, Laboratory Products and Technology at DenMat. “Everything from clinical outcomes to insurance reimbursement hangs on product performance. We want labs and dentists to know they can count on Cerinate’s highly esthetic restorations and LumiZir’s superior strength and translucency in the products they’re receiving.”
The IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council is a non-profit, voluntary industry organization that helps dentists improve outcomes, reassure patients and streamline paperwork with free certificates documenting restorative material composition and ADA classification. More information on the program, including a list of over 40 alloy and ceramic suppliers certifying their products through the Council, is available at IdentAlloy.org or by calling 888-577-2634.
